Victoria is the eldest of six children born to William and Adelaide Emerson. Being one-eighth Veela meant that she always had people attracted to her for her looks, something that annoyed her a little in her youth because she never believed that anyone was truly genuine. She and her twin brother drew up with another set of twins, werewolf boys who ended up attending Hogwarts with them when the time came. And while the one boy was keen to strike up a friendship, it seemed that the younger boy was not so sure. It took a few years and several chance encounters for him to open up to her and realize that Victoria was not going to be the kind of person to turn him away. She made it through school with excellent grades, anxious to become an Auror as her father had once been.

Since graduation, a great many things have happened for Victoria. She saw the opening of her boyfriend's bakery, and got engaged. Following the completion of her training, the two were married. But during one of her field missions, something went horribly wrong. Victoria awoke in hospital some months later with no recollection of what had happened, only to learn that her husband had been sent to Azkaban for attacking the man who had hurt her. In the year that followed, she learned that she would not be able to return to active duty because of her injury and was thus relegated to desk duty. Her husband remained in Azkaban until Christmas 2018, when she returned home from dinner with her family to find him curled up on a rug on the floor. The two have been trying to patch up their relationship, but the process has been incredibly difficult and they have made little progress in the last nine months.

Friends are an interesting idea with Vic. She tends to give everyone the benefit of the doubt right off the bat, but she isn't the type to trust immediately. As someone who spent some time working as an Auror she's not inclined to just let anyone prance around her life without knowing a little about them. But she's a friendly individual as long as her side isn't hurting her, and she makes herself accessible to her family at all times. Pretty well as long as you don't piss her off or prove to be an idiot she's good with you.

This is a pretty easy category to slide into. Once you've demonstrated that you're not to be trusted or she takes a disliking to you based on your personality, you get shuffled into this group. There are a number of people from her school days who might also fit in here due to not liking the attention she used to get from people, and she's fine with that. If you're connected to Deatheaters or elitists, you will never escape this list.

Her father was a pureblood wizard who cut ties with his elitist family and married her mother, who was a Squib. With two older brothers running around the household, she was fearless and bold as a child. If she was told she couldn't climb that tree because it was too high or she was too small, she would do it anyway just to prove people wrong. Flying was also a passion, something that she would later use at Hogwarts. Unfortunately, things did not go smoothly and just before Katherine's tenth birthday, her mother took her own life because she was unable to cope with the demons any longer. As a result her father turned to alcohol to deal with his grief and neglected the only child who was left in the household at the time.

Her relationship with her father has since been patched because of his rehabilitation, but her brothers still blame him for his neglect and disapprove of the way that he handled things. They remain estranged, which puts even more pressure on Katherine to try and find some kind of peace within her family. She has been battling her own demons for quite some time, and now fears that she might end up losing the same way her mother did. She goes back and forth constantly, struggling to cope with the voices in her head and the pressures of school. She's currently in her final year of school.

Kate was never the type to really worry about crushes and the like, especially because she heard some older girls mocking her for her looks in the bathroom back in her fourth year, not knowing that she was hidden away in one of the stalls. This prompted a whole bunch of issues for her, but they didn't stop her from agreeing to go out on a date with her best friend in her fourth year after a rather nasty Quidditch injury sidelined him. She's now quite happy with him, even though he has graduated and now plays Quidditch professionally. Her heart is rather taken by her boyfriend and she's not the type for flings or anything else. One sided crushes, past interests and perhaps some puppy love would be adorable. An obsessive stalker could also be interesting to play with.
